Patients love telehealth—physicians are not so sure

I found this article really interesting. Often discussed with digital transformation is “information asymmetry” and the rebalancing of power. Changing who sees the data and how it is used does more than “digitize” existing ways of working. It redefines how we interact, who we trust, where we see risks, what value we think is created. In this case between physicians and patients. Would you see the same results from veterinarians and pet owners, educators and students, plumbers and clients, etc?

During the pandemic, patients have said that they like telehealth, especially for behavioral-health treatment. But physicians say they are concerned about telehealth’s long-term sustainability.

Thanks
